Founder's vision & message

Suraj Bokka founded Second Chance India  as a charity NGO in Hyderabad, Telangana, to rescue and rehabilitate abandoned, elderly, and homelessness people with dignity. Suraj Bokka envisioned the NGO as a structured charity platform where compassion is combined with systems for long-term rehabilitation. Second Chance India in Hyderabad, Telangana runs with a core team and 100+ volunteers supporting daily rescue and shelter operations.

The vision of the NGO is to make sure that no vulnerable person will ever suffer or die alone, and its mission focuses around rescue, rehabilitation, reintegration and life restoration. Key projects include 24/7 street rescue operations, free shelter homes, medical care programs, nutrition initiatives, and family reunification initiatives across urban communities.


The charity has received support through platforms such as Ketto and acknowledgments from the Government of Telangana, including the Best NGO Award. These associations and achievements strengthen Second Chance India’s credibility as a leading humanitarian NGO delivering measurable social impact.
