Help in Suffering , Jaipur

Help in suffering is located at Durgapur, Jaipur and was founded in 1980. This animal welfare NGO is a registered Indian charitable trust working for the benefit of animals in India. This NGO is also associated with other organizations such as Help In Suffering U.K., Animaux-Secure France and many more who are constantly working for animal rescue across the world. The organization also started their own veterinary hospital with limited resources in a small area which was now extended to 2 acres of land in Jaipur. They also offer visitors to see their hospital to spread awareness to help animals.


Help in Suffering provides emergency medical and surgical care to injured animals, street animals and also to the animals who are abused, starved and abandoned by their owners.

The organization has also started many animal welfare projects in the Jaipur city to save animals' lives. Due to the continuous hard work of the team, Jaipur has become the only city in Rajasthan which is rabies free.

Founder's vision & message

Help in Suffering was founded by a British animal lover “Miss Crystal Rodgers” in 1980. Her main aim to start this organization was to help every suffering animal and other living things who get abused in the society. Help in Suffering is now runned by a team of extremely dedicated staff  and their love for animals which drives them to strive harder. The organization has thirty-five trained staff members who are working to handle and  provide medical care to the sick and traumatized animals, five rescue ambulances to help rescue animals in emergency.


The HIS team is well known in the state for their tremendous work and dedication towards helping animals. For many years now, the team is still constantly working for the betterment of the animals. The main aim of this organization is to provide shelter, medical aid and care to birds and animals of all species.
