Founding Team of GRAVIS envisioned a people-led development model rooted in Gandhian values, laying the foundation of Gramin Vikas Vigyan Samiti (GRAVIS), Jodhpur, Rajasthan, as a grassroots charity organisation and nonprofit organisation dedicated to self-sufficient villages. The mission of Gramin Vikas Vigyan Samiti (GRAVIS), Jodhpur,Rajasthan is to enhance rural livelihoods, water security, health, and education through inclusive, science-based, and community-owned interventions, while its vision is resilient and equitable rural societies. Under the leadership of the founding members of GRAVIS, the NGO has successfully completed extensive projects in water harvesting, drought relief, agricultural development, preventive health, and education, supported by hundreds of staff members and community volunteers working at the grassroots.
