Founder's vision & message

Mrs. P.N. Kavoori is the founder of Disha Foundation, a charity based in Jaipur, Rajasthan that started in 1995 with the mission to serve children with multiple disabilities with just the 17 students. India. Mrs. P.N. Kavoori, lifelong commitment to special education is the inspiration behind establishing this NGO, envisioned a compassionate centre where every person with intellectual and developmental challenges could access support, learning, and dignity. The charity’s initial efforts supported the development of Jaipur's first integrated early intervention program for children with special needs, and her leadership continues to guide its evolution. 

The mission of Disha Foundation is to provide special education, therapy, and rehabilitation services in nurturing environment, where its vision is to foster inclusion and opportunity for all individuals, regardless of ability. The charity works with volunteers, specialist educators, and therapists to deliver its key programs.
