Devdas Goswami is the founder of Dev Animal Voluntary Organization, a charity based in Sonipat, Haryana dedicated to caring for abandoned elders with compassion and dignity.   Devdas Goswami's life-long commitment to social welfare began over 35 years ago when he started rescuing destitute elderly people from streets and hardship, making it his mission to provide shelter, food, medical support, and care. As a charity and NGO leader, he has driven initiatives that became lifelines for many forgotten elders. 

The mission of this NGO is to rescue, rehabilitate, and renew hope among elderly individuals through dedicated elder care, shelter homes, rescue operations, and essential services. Its vision is to build a compassionate society where no elder faces neglect or loneliness. In the direction of Devdas Goswami, it undertakes major projects like old age home operations in Sonipat, Haryana and outreach programs across nearby areas, ensuring dignity and belonging for hundreds daily.

Supported by a small team of volunteers and local donors, DAVO involves communities despite limited funding.
