Lt. Dr. S.D Gokhale founded CASP India in the year 1976. The stimulus came from a group of parents who were affected by leprosy and thus shunned due to their derormities. Unfortunately their children were not allowed to attend school too. Even if they did, they were made sit apart from the rest. This was the time Dr. Gokhale requested the parents of the children to institutionalise them where they would be raised and mentored without discrimination. 

CASP India is a place where children are treated equally. It's an organisation that supports child sponsorship that helps build a child a better way of life. Community Aid and Sponsor Program is an inspiration to the aspiring NGOs who want to create a better India, a country that's free from discrimination, poverty and illiteracy. you can be the part of the change through voluntary participating in the cause. In addition you can donate and sponsor a child for education.
