Deepa Pawar officially started this NGO in 2016 while working with young girls and women in the urban community of Mumbai. With a belief in the right to equity, justice, expression, and dignity, the NGO is working to eradicate all the social discrimination from Maharashtra. During the COVID-19 crisis, the NGO has managed to help families with pregnant women, single women-headed households, COVID +ve and recovering patients, survivors of violence, disabled, etc. Anubhuti is not only providing ration but also providing constant counseling on mental health, vaccinations, precautions to be taken, and dealing with deep social & economic impacts such as child marriage, domestic violence & financial crisis. The most inspiring is how people on the ground are constantly volunteering with this Maharashtra-based NGO and helping marginal communities by providing daily ration.
