There are 10.13 million child laborers between 5-14 years in India (Census 2011). Aashray India, Mohali based non-profit organization is working to stop child begging in the different regions of Punjab. The Aashray India has helped thousands of unprivileged children by providing quality education free of cost. Regardless of caste, gender, and religion, this Mohali-based nonprofit organization is helping unprivileged children to pave their path toward a better life. 


The deprived children need care and attention and therefore, Aashray has initiated several drives to improve the surviving situation of unprivileged children living in Mohali. Through their projects and active drives, they have made the lives of thousands of children worthwhile.

Founder's vision & message

Aashray NGO was founded by Aman Ahuja, the one who cares for these blooming birds. Since childhood, he wanted to work for the betterment of society. He joined the NGO in 2015 and the rest is history.


According to Mr. Bakshi-the managing director, “Helping others is our duty. It is our responsibility to serve the ones who are in need. If we can’t be an ocean of change, we should try to be a drop of change in an entire ocean. Even this can do wonders.”


The founders and team members of Aashray India always look forward to getting in touch with people who are ready to contribute to a better society. Through charity and voluntary efforts, the Punjab located NGO is able to successfully accomplish various drives and projects helping slum children live better lives.
